We are excited about the new move to Pensthorpe Nature Park which takes place in January 2016, and know that there are many positive benefits for our patients. However, we do appreciate that moving the practice will have an impact on you, and you may have questions about transport, accessibility and what to expect from us at the new location. In August, we held a forum with a representative group of patients to identify different issues you may experience as a result of the move, and from this, created a ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ which you can read below…
Will the Creative Chiropractic team be the same?
Yes, absolutely! The same practitioners and reception team will be moving to welcome you in the new practice.
What will the opening hours be?
The new practice will be open to patients between 8:30am and 6pm Monday to Friday with the introduction of Saturday opening hours of 9am to 1pm. There will be more consulting rooms in the new practice which means practitioners will have more appointments available to patients.
Will I have to pay more for treatment?
No. All chiropractic, reflexology and massage treatment prices will remain the same.
Where is Pensthorpe?
Situated along the main A1067 Fakenham to Norwich road, Pensthorpe is just one mile outside of Fakenham. Use postcode NR21 0LN for your sat nav.
Can I use public transport to get there?
Yes, there is a local bus service, Norfolk Green which operates the X29 hale and ride service between Norwich and Fakenham. It drops off and collects at the top of the drive by main road. Click here for links to timetables on the Norfolk Green website.
There will also be a Community Car scheme operating between Holt and Pensthorpe. More details to follow on that.
What will the parking facilities be like?
There are hundreds of free car parking spaces and designated spaces for disabled parking. The all-weather car park surface is gravel and the path leading to main entrance is Tarmac Sprayed gravel.
How accessible will the practice be from the main car park?
There will be a separate entrance to the new practice just for Creative Chiropractic patients. For those that need it, there will also be a drop off point closer to the practice than the main car park and if required, pre-organised wheelchair assistance from the drop off point will be provided. There are no steps to access facilities.
How about accessibility within the practice?
Consulting rooms in the new practice will be located on the ground and first floor (with lift access)
Can I visit Pensthorpe facilities while I’m there?
There will be special discounted rates to access the wonderful setting of Pensthorpe Natural Park for Creative Chiropractic patients as well as the on-site facilities like the café, so yes, take the opportunity to explore the nature trails and woodland walks. Pensthorpe truly is a showcase for British wildlife and nature conservation. Find out more at: www.pensthorpe.com
